Rough playlist for this Sunday's show (28th October)

In no real order (notes like this):

• Brian Jonestown Massacre - F*** you for F***ing me (There really is no swearing in it, apart from the title - or maybe something from their new album 'My Bloody Underground')
  
• Interpol - The Scale (or maybe Slow Hands - but then I would have to use my Ipod, so it is harder to prefade).
  
• British Sea Power - Childhood Memories (seeing as I messed up last time).
  
• Godspeed You! Black Emperor - The Cowboy (~10 minutes into Dead Flag Blues - or I might play Dead Flag Blues (intro), but that is ~7 minutes long! I think too many of the songs I played last week were too long).
• The Pogues - Fairytale of New York (I have to introduce a song with a limerick, this seems like a good choice. Still have to write the limerick, though >.<)

EDIT: I just realised I can't really play this song (because ofcom are everywhere). But I'll probably play some Pogues? And I still have to do a limerick. (well, I've chosen a different song, but I'll probably play this around Christmas).

aaand, that's all I got so far. Time to eat food! (I will probably/never update this when I make my mind up. Also it is confusing, 'cause I have to play the news at the end, plus links, so I'll be lucky to get 50 minutes of music. So long as I fade my mic up when I do my links, I should be OK though).

URF social 23rd October

Last Tuesday, I went to the URF social. It was 2-6, but I had a workshop at 3, so I only got there just before 4. I brought some CDs, so I got Chris to play some of the songs ('Cannonball' by the Breeders and 'Gouge Away' by Pixies). I even got to mix some songs for about 20 minutes; It was awesome.

aaaand then I got kicked off/ ran out of CDS :P

Oh, and after that I guested on someone's show (John and Iggy's Funk Bucket, Tuesdays 8-9 pm). It was cool; I got mauled by a rabid dog and lost an arm. I think it may yet be there...

Sunday 21st October: The post-post mortem

A few mistakes, hopefully next Sunday will go a bit better. I think I did OK, but I lost it towards the end. Also I forgot to play the news, or any of the URF jingle things. And the last song didn't have any words until the last 30 seconds (It is meant to have words. It really is!)
